CPSA Academy

Although shotgun Coaching has always been available, formal initial instruction and continuing education programmes have not been the norm; this has resulted in the majority of shooters being self-taught or taught by a friend, only seeking out a Coach when they have a major problem.

CPSA Qualification record The CPSA (The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association) are now seeking to redress this problem through the introduction of an Academy Training Scheme.

The scheme is capable of progressing individuals from beginner through to advanced skills and discipline specialisation, to instructor and on to coaching at the highest level of international competition.

Experience indicates that a continuing education programme, backed by certificates of participation or achievement is the best approach to acheiving the above goals.

All of the Academy courses have been put together and are administerd by the CPSA, ensuring the Academy Programme is of the highest standard.

Here at the Bristol Clay Shooting School the programme is run by our highly qualified CPSA coach, Neil Padfield.
